Nigerians react to a photoshopped photo of Ahmed Tinubu on Ebuka Uchendu’s body
Nigerians are responding to a photo of APC presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu that has been altered to appear to be on the body of media personality Ebuka Uchendu.
A billboard featuring him in Ebuka’s body was created by his political team for him in Lagos. Tinubu’s head was added to Ebuka’s image after Ebuka’s head was removed through cropping.
However, the editor neglected to remove Ebuka’s wedding band, cap, hands, and other details, making it simple for viewers to identify the retouching. Others expressed sadness and anger at Tinubu’s love of fakery while some poked fun of the cropped photograph.
This viral photo was shared by Dino Melaye, who stated that was nothing original about Tinubu.
“See how Tinubu dem photoshop Ebuka’s picture. Plus feather and ring placed in same position. Oga ooo. There is nothing original about this Emilokan man. SDM”.
One Dejay tee wrote, “Can you imagine? Chai this man is definitely a criminal I swear… nothing is legit about this human… He’ll finish this country if una like make una still think 2023 elections is about tribal game. It’s about redemption and survival of this country and her people. Please vote PO
One Mezie official wrote, “I seriously don’t know what sign again we want. The gods are constantly dropping and showing us. Thick red flags but we just dey play. Tinubu makes blunder at Lagos rally
Just a few days prior, Bola Ahmed Tinubu caused a stir in Nigeria when he made another error during a political event in Lagos State.
At the Teslim Balogun Stadium Surulere in Lagos State on November 26, the APC organized a rally in support of Tinubu, its presidential candidate, and Senator Kashim Shettima, who is Tinubu’s running mate. The protest was referred to as the “Mother of all protests.” Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola, the speaker of the House of Representatives, and others are among the dignitaries who attended the event.
In his speech, Tinubu urged the audience to utilize their Permanent Voter Cards, or PVCs; however, while he was saying PVC, the 70-year-old, who had previously made mistakes at rallies, pronounced it as APV.
Social media was used by Nigerians to respond to Tinubu’s latest error. While some jokingly remarked that he has been delivering back-to-back material like skitmakers, others believed he may be suffering from dementia.
In another error, during the flag-off of a presidential rally in Jos, Tinubu erroneously prayed for his rival party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), rather than his own party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“God bless Nigeria…God bless Nigeria, God bless PD… APC, APC. God bless APC”, Tinubu said.
