Evang. Mike Bamiloye of Mount Zion Faith Ministries has once again shared his two cent about tithing.

The gospel drama minister took to his Facebook page some hours ago to revisit the issue of tithing which is one of the most controversial topics so far.

According to him, the full understanding that God is the giver of life and all that human possesses will change the orientation of one about the 10% tithe.

In the post he made, the actor said he had seen ministers who went extreme to contribute to the kingdom project as some even sold their belongings and invested all the proceeds into kingdom advancement.

He cited some biblical characters who gave their all instead of the 10% the bible requested. He cited Peter who left his job and family to follow Christ, the woman with the Alabaster box of perfume who also honored Jesus Christ by pouring the perfume he purchased with her one year salary at Jesus’ feet, and others to mention few.

He finally concluded that the blessing attached to tithing and offering cannot be overemphasized as the bible categorically stated that the reward of the seed sown is relative to its quantity.

In Evang. Mike Bamiloye’s words;

YOU KNOW WHAT?  I just discovered now that Those People Arguing that giving 10% Tithes is Old Testament Pattern Might be somehow Correct.  Probably they would have to abide by the New Testament Pattern which is even upward to 100% of your Earnings.

Peter left all the Fishes at Jesus Command.  The Woman spent almost a Whole Year Salary to buy Alabaster Box of Perfume to Honor Jesus Christ with it. The Disciples in the Early Church sold their lands and laid All the proceeds at Apostles feet.

I have seen Men of God selling their Car to finance a Crusade. I have heard of Men of God using their Houses as Collateral to get loans to do projects for the Lord. Your TITHES and OFFERINGS hang on this UNBREAKABLE Biblical Principle:

2 Corinthians 9:6 NKJV“But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.”

When the Lord is the Lord over your entire life, 10% Tithe becomes too small to give the Lord. He becomes the Master over Your life and All That you have. Selar!

‘Be careful if your job has shifted the place of God in your heart’ – Mike Bamiloye

Recall that Evang. Mike Bamiloye took to his Facebook page some days ago to note that it is possible for one’s job to totally replace the place of God in one’s heart.

According to him, when one’s job pushes one to sin, such person is already walking away from God and when one is at the backslidden state, God cannot use the person to fulfil His purpose.

Some of his follower took to the comment section to also mention some other things that can shift the place of God in one’s heart.  ‘Not job alone marriage,breakthrough and others’ – Someone commented

In Evang. Mike Bamiloye’s words;

If you job has taken the love of God from your heart and placed you in a terrible proximity with sins, you are on your way walking away from God. Listen, at backslidden state, God cannot use you to fulfil his purpose.

So, if you are not here by accident and you are her on purpose, you have to stay close to God and not walk away from Him.
